2019 Events


Group Night –        A welcome return visit by Colin Hopper
                                 Past President of Ipswich Magical Society
                       His talk this evening is entitled The History of Magic

The History of Magic is an amusing look at the ‘second oldest’ profession in
 the world, and the reason and purpose of magic tricks.  The talk is illustrated
with diagrams, and demonstrations of one or two magical effects.

Questions will be accepted at the end, except ‘How’s it Done?’

The presentation that was scheduled for tonight by Andy Bennet, has been
postponed until 21st October 2019 due to unforeseen circumstances.

All meetings start with tea and coffee.

Training nights start at 7:30 and may include a raffle; followed by Observer training at 9:00

Other night’s doors open at 7:30 for an 8:00 start and include the buying of raffle tickets.

All meetings will be held in the small room.

It is a requirement for associates to attend training sessions to enable them to be familiar with advanced driving techniques and skills, prior to, and alongside their observed drives. It is also important that those of you who have already passed your advanced test attend, to further your skills as an advanced driver
