Due to the current situation we are taking the advice
of the Government and IAM RoadSmart to cancel
all non-essential meetings.
It comes with a heavy heart that I am writing to you at this time. As you will all be aware the country is under a tremendous strain trying to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic on an individual basis whilst providing as much help and support to our loved ones and neighbours as we can in this difficult time.
Personally I want to thank all those people who are going above and beyond in this difficult time. There is no single person at this time, instead the country is coming together as a collective to provide the help, support and resources needed to get through these uncertainties.
At this time we all want to do our bit, and towards this end there are groups specifically set up to coordinate all this goodwill to achieve the maximum benefit to everyone. Below are some links that will take you to websites with more information:

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update: 24 August 2020
We’re pleased to announce our on-road training is resuming, in line with national and devolved administration advice.
Advanced Driver coaching resumed in England on Monday 20 July and in Wales from Monday 10 August. Preparations to return to Advanced Driver coaching in Scotland will begin on Monday 24 August and in Northern Ireland on Tuesday 1 September. From Monday 14 September we are pleased to confirm driver coaching will be available UK-wide, although it may be restricted by the availability of Observers. However, every effort will be made to ensure those who want to resume in-car coaching are able to do so. Associates who have already started their coaching will be given priority initially. Capacity is expected to steadily increase over the coming weeks. Our bike groups nationwide have also returned to on-road Advanced Rider observing. All arrangements are subject to availability and local restrictions that may be put in place. Clear guidelines are in place for the delivery of all our services and personal safety remains our top priority.
